My educational passion is social emotional learning. Outside of work, I enjoy listening to and seeing live music, cooking delicious meals, and spending time with my family. “Hello, my name is Nicole Myovich. My students call me Ms. Myovich. I teach second grade. My pronouns are she/her. I have been teaching at Bay Farm for 16 years. Before that I taught at Amelia Earhart for over 10 years. I’ve had the opportunity to teach every grade level, but second grade is truly my passion. I especially enjoy teaching STEAM and science—seeing students explore, question, and create through project-based learning is incredibly rewarding. "Hello, my name is Jim Miller. My students call me Mr. Miller, I teach 2nd grade. My pronouns are he/him. I have been teaching in Alameda for over 30 years. I grew up nearby in San Lorenzo. In the classroom, I work to foster community, initiative, and responsibility. Visiting the National Parks is one of my favorite ways to take a vacation.
