I attended Indiana University's School of Fina Arts for my BA, and the Academy of Art University for my MAT in Art Education. I was raised in Johannesburg, South Africa and Philadelphia. My educational passion is giving students the tools to express themselves creatively while developing critical thinking and problem-solving through the arts. Environmental Science/Garden- Marianne Olney Hamel
Hello! My name is Marianne Olney-Hamel. My students call me Farmer Marianne, and my pronouns are they/them. I teach Environmental Science/Garden. Before working at Bay Farm, I ran my own urban farm, worked in floral design, and was a beekeeper.
