"Hello, my name is Athena Breuer. My students call me Mrs. Breuer. I teach third grade. My pronouns are she/her. I have taught at Bay Farm school for 16 years. I spent 11 years teaching abroad in Germany and Japan. I attended Holy Names College. I was born and raised in the East Bay. My educational passion is teaching about our world. In my class we study geography and make global connections throughout the year. Outside of work I love to read, puzzle, garden, and hang out with my husband, Coach Breuer. "Hello, my name is Michele Kuttner. Students call me Mrs. Kuttner. I teach third grade. My pronouns are she/ her. This is my 20th year at Bay Farm School! I attended the University of Arizona. I was raised in Tucson, Arizona. My educational passion is environmental education and science (but I really love teaching all of the subjects). "Hello, my name is Jean Liu. My students call me Ms. Liu. I teach third grade. My pronouns are she/ her. This is my third year at Bay Farm School. Previously, I taught in Fremont Unified School District for 18 years. I received my undergraduate degree from UCLA and my masters from UC Berkeley. I was born in Louisiana but grew up mostly in Los Angeles. I spent my last two years of high school living in Singapore before returning to California. I've also spent some time living, studying Chinese, and teaching English in China. I've lived in the East Bay for the past 25 years and in Alameda for over 13 years. My educational passion is providing a caring and supportive classroom in which everyone's strengths and differences are valued.
